Both Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift can brighten a room.
At Sunday's 2024 Golden Globes, Swift's Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour movie was nominated for cinematic and box office achievement and Gomez was nominated for best performance by a female actor in a television musical or comedy for her role in the Hulu series. The 34-year-old singer of “Lover” and the 31-year-old star of Only Murders in the Building hug The Golden Globes posted the photos on X, formerly Twitter, with the caption, “Girls night at the #GoldenGlobes.”
The Eras Tour is now the highest-grossing concert film, surpassing Michael Jackson's This Is It, Variety reports.

Sunday's awards ceremony saw Gomez look stunning in a bright red Giorgio Armani dress with black details and an asymmetrical hemline. The dress had a black waistline, front cutouts with black rosettes, and a black lining. Rare Beauty added black nail polish and red Christian Louboutin heels to the gown.
Swift wore a metallic green floor-length Gucci gown and pointed Christian Louboutin heels.

Last month, Gomez posted an Instagram Story of Swift kissing her cheek on her 34th birthday. “Happy Birthday to the goddess that is @TaylorSwift,” Gomez tweeted. She added a “I love you” graphic to her Instagram Story.
Gomez captioned a series of Instagram photos with Swift in September with “Thats my best friend—she a real bad,” referencing Saweetie's song “Best Friend.”
In November 2022, the former Disney Channel star told Rolling Stone he was Swift's only industry friend.
Gomez said, “I never fit in with a cool group of girls that were celebrities.” “I felt like I didn't belong in the industry because Taylor [Swift] is my only friend.”
In New York City, the two friends had an outing with Cara Delevingne, Anya Taylor-Joy, and Zoë Kravitz last month.
